Hello friends. We saw mom get out her big ugly suitcase today and got worried. She confirmed our suspicions and told us she was going on vacation without us. I know I've been putting in long hours at my part-time backyard security job but I haven't been ignoring her completely! Why must she leave us? She says we can't go where she is going which is to Nags Head, NC (otherwise known to us as the beach). The house our grandparents rented doesn't allow us fine specimens. In the meantime, our uncle Eric will be taking care of us but won't be helping us on the computer so we're putting up our "Out of office" message. We'll read your posts once mom is back to help us. Here's wishing her a great but hurry back vacation.
Play the pitiful card - and then maybe Uncle Eric will be generous with the treats!!

Oh, you poor thing being left behind while mom goes to the beach ... I'll tell you what - come and stay with us in our pet-friendly house in Duck, NC in the fall - and leave mom at home!
