We had to take some time off from blogging to mourn our beloved Blizzo. Not sure how often we will be back, hoping at least once a month.<br />
<br />
Can't believe it's been over a year since Blizz has passed away. Mom and me for a while had dreams almost every night of her. Now, it's not as common but they still sneak up on us once in a while. A few times we awoke thinking the dream was real and that she was still here with us. And even at times, we thought we could hear her when we nestled quietly into bed and just listened.<br />
<br />
Our hearts are still broken and I'm still coping but we are attempting to keep busy. Not that she's out of our minds when we are busy, but we know she wants us to live our lives. Mom still says good morning to her and especially when her song comes on the radio! "Good Life" by OneRepublic. <br />
<br />
Next post I'll update you all on my excavating business, let's just say Mom is not pleased with the progress. <br />
<br />
Here are some pictures of Blizz's Urn and paw print. The picture frame says, "God saw her getting tired, a cure not meant to be so He wrapped His arms around her and whispered, "Come with Me". Rest in peace our dear Blizzo. <br />

Blizz, my fearless companion of the last 7 years has lymphoma. We got the confirmation today from the Vet. Mom and I are truly, truly heartbroken. Chemo will not be an option as Blizz is nearly 10 years old and does not tolerate sickness or medicine/treatment of any kind well. She's been given prednisone to help get her back to somewhat of normalcy for her last days.<br /><br />We noticed a few weeks ago she wasn't eating as much as she ususally does and was losing weight. She then became very tired and would sleep most of the day. Mom took her to the Vet on Saturday. The Vet at first said it could be Lyme Disease but wanted to take a cytology of the lumps on her neck. They put her on a antibiotic hoping it would be the lesser of two evils, but in the end the most evil one won. If it was Lyme disease she probably would have been 'healed' within 30-60 days of the antibiotic.<br /><br /><br />She has completely lost her appetite, but the prednisone is suppose to bring it back. (We are praying!). I am so distrought over losing my best friend. We do not know how much longer she has left. I am writing this with tears in my eyes. Please pray for us!<br /><br /><br />I want to thank all my friends for their support during this difficult time. We will try to keep everyone updated and be on here more often.<br /><br /><br />Here's a nice picture of Blizz riding in the car tonight to our grandma's house. This is the first time she's been happy in weeks. I'm on the other side watching for cats! I'll have her back furever!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613800815582678130" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbcCNQ08-jZw04rYj_Vd3Y3jE5DTOMdxFkz1gh_OS2926wRso_ZSFfdf1wERjfC1r6Z1OKRDxy2LQ5UPHGLtzK5CW4OEpRIbwSYacV_vhdMwE48oFeBdi2VpxImBbS4AgxZRErFFd40laO/s400/Blizz+car.jpg" border="0" />Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-15554199093536981722011-02-17T12:29:00.003-05:002011-02-17T12:42:31.147-05:00Movin' on up.......<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaONE_ZFDOkW5qNrxj0l_ML8S5Ne2wD6mRRFYyikkR1RS4Nsciskqz_itxUDXX2nZEwCfiK0_Gt_YvtTz48dkipzJmYGy9rQ7Ozz8RCVNj564lDjpPG0nwtG7aUFCSkpkVRNgKoaQcbRzV/s1600/neighbor.bmp"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5574712028324372786" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 323px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaONE_ZFDOkW5qNrxj0l_ML8S5Ne2wD6mRRFYyikkR1RS4Nsciskqz_itxUDXX2nZEwCfiK0_Gt_YvtTz48dkipzJmYGy9rQ7Ozz8RCVNj564lDjpPG0nwtG7aUFCSkpkVRNgKoaQcbRzV/s400/neighbor.bmp" border="0" /></a> Hello everyone! I know it's been an extremely long time since our last post. Blizz and I are doing just fine but our mom hasn't had much time or energy to help with this blog. Supposedly, she has a thyroid condition but I think she's just L-A-Z-Y. <br /><br />The For Sale sign above isn't actually in our yard; we stole it from an email. But according to mom we are putting the house on the market in April and moving hopefully to a place with more room. Currently, Blizz and I have to share a room and I don't think that's very fair. Plus, we need to really get away from our skanky neighbors on both sides of the house (reason for the above picture). Only time will tell.<br /><div></div>Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-24872335995917414612010-08-02T18:21:00.002-04:002010-08-02T18:43:00.363-04:00My new bed & 10 things<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9UJTD5Nm-C8jYlMg3sfbjlxchWwjX6KCbuJ3IsoYdWebLh04EOa5Lv4L5bgBgXyZVD5zBCydcEk-8al8C9BFClgBeeulwRaedjA45DEvI33j0GqMsvK4pSXa0t_hKge1jkktjo-Z9c2HE/s1600/bed+001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5500941534318754722" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 346px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9UJTD5Nm-C8jYlMg3sfbjlxchWwjX6KCbuJ3IsoYdWebLh04EOa5Lv4L5bgBgXyZVD5zBCydcEk-8al8C9BFClgBeeulwRaedjA45DEvI33j0GqMsvK4pSXa0t_hKge1jkktjo-Z9c2HE/s400/bed+001.JPG" border="0" /></a> My new bed finally arrived yesterday! It's much fluffier than the last one and Blizz is jealous. I let her sleep on it last night while I slept on the couch --- and yes I was allowed to sleep on the couch this time! So far we love the new bed. Mom is going to check another store to see if they have another one for Blizz. <br /><br />I decided to make a list of 10 things about me that you may or may not know:<br /><br />1. My middle name is "Bo" after mom's previous dog Charlie Bo. He was a Yorkie and sometimes she calls me by his name accidentally.<br /><br />2. I once hid my Hamburger Helper in the side of the couch!<br /><br />3. I love pizza.<br /><br />4. I wake mom up around midnight every night to go outside.<br /><br />5. Every time I go for a walk I have an "accident". Once a man yelled at mom to clean it up, she didn't and walked away!<br /><br />6. In the car I HAVE to ride in the front seat and rub my wet nose against the window.<br /><br />7. Once in the car I accidentally pressed down the window button and almost fell out the car!<br /><br />8. I love children but not toddlers or babies.<br /><br />9. I usually don't get along with other dogs except Blizz. If they come to my mom I get very protective and territorial.<br /><br />10. I have escaped from the front door twice and once when the gate was left open and went wild. I scare the daylight out of mom when I do that. But hey, at least she cares!Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-52090484750955484312010-07-28T18:27:00.003-04:002010-07-28T18:54:48.187-04:00Toy Massacre!<div align="left"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDJUMLmZT87fz1JyrBM4R3sRhwX6nzBhJALrbHHY89RvRkrGEdhSVYzheeXdeIsmIqL84JqSqR0e6RqClszMoqo4UrvYVzDR8A-hrvCC5PjZh9p2_-61Kr0FUudUoPYFcxhSn7euOqef-K/s1600/Mess+001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5499087799039164978" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDJUMLmZT87fz1JyrBM4R3sRhwX6nzBhJALrbHHY89RvRkrGEdhSVYzheeXdeIsmIqL84JqSqR0e6RqClszMoqo4UrvYVzDR8A-hrvCC5PjZh9p2_-61Kr0FUudUoPYFcxhSn7euOqef-K/s400/Mess+001.JPG" border="0" /></a> Yes, the above picture is that of a toy massacre. Mom bought us 3 new toys the other day and within 24 hours the massacre occurred. The big thing in the middle with all the brown stuffing coming out is what I used to call my bed. To the right of what I used to call my bed is the remains of a pink stuffed pig and to the upper left is the remains of a green stuffed frog. The 3rd new toy (a rubber red bear) was listed as MIA when this photographic evidence was taken. He later turned up in mom's bedroom and is now listed as a prisoner of war. We are thinking of releasing him into the nasty neighbor's yard at night, a top secret mission that I am only sharing with you all. <br /><br />I didn't mean to destroy my bed but I was hiding the toys underneath of it and periodically had to check on the status of my prisoners and you know I have to use my mouth to physically pick up the bed and well it got out of hand. My teeth are just so strong and sharp! They really are a lethal weapon. <br /><br />Blizz did not take part in the massacre. She sat contently watching the battle and was thoroughly entertained. She did as you can tell guard her bed from the invasion. <br /><br />You may be wondering where I am sleeping now and it's actually a different spot each night. I start out getting underneath mom's bed on the cool hardwood floors which you might think is too hard but it's quite comfortable. It's nice and cool from the hot summer heat we are having lately and no one bothers me there. From there I usually go back into our room and lay on the carpet or wake mom up to let me go outside and sleep on the mat. If she lets me out and I don't come back when called she leaves me out till morning. <br /><br />Mom is going to get me a new bed this weekend but will wait a while on the replacement toys. It was fun while it lasted.<br /> </div>Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-84546702790521695002010-07-22T19:01:00.002-04:002010-07-22T19:17:47.758-04:00Uh oh! Okay so that's a bad remake of the 'COPS' song but we were really in trouble when we got caught on the couch last night. Blizz is not allowed at all on the couch because she sheds terribly, and me, well you can say I am only allowed when I am clean (which is never!). We were let go with a misdemeanor and no slap on the wrist. I even was able to keep my part-time security job in the backyard all night. <br /><br />Still no attack plan has been engaged yet on the neighbor from hell due to the excessive heat and him of course staying home all the time since he has no job. We figure he's still alive and hiding in his house waiting for our attack. <br /><br />Blizz is scheduled to go back to the vet this weekend to have her ears re-checked. She seems to be doing better so we're hoping for a full recovery. <br /><br />Adios amigos! (Can you believe that a dog from Scottish descent can speak a little espanol?)<br /><br /><br /><div></div>Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-11033347482237469162010-07-14T18:53:00.004-04:002010-07-14T19:05:29.586-04:00Blizz and me<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9PiWAkBETjv29YBIAcRGJAP3grOEL1xk_rfHkMtv5vx5iFEE4K78dS5gWf5UYYJLi7E8PHxSLesoPeaakNcdn4I66iZx3-ItJPmt1uh4RdkGbKH2ZzwZgDBNEuCWxUN0-N4cfi1pfgpG8/s1600/012.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5493899567940442130" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9PiWAkBETjv29YBIAcRGJAP3grOEL1xk_rfHkMtv5vx5iFEE4K78dS5gWf5UYYJLi7E8PHxSLesoPeaakNcdn4I66iZx3-ItJPmt1uh4RdkGbKH2ZzwZgDBNEuCWxUN0-N4cfi1pfgpG8/s400/012.JPG" border="0" /></a> Blizz had to go to the vet for her ears. When mom got home from work and was going to check the mailbox he was coming out of his house with his daughter and he said hello. Mom said hello back but not in the most friendly way of course. He then proceeded to strike up a conversation but mom stopped him dead in his tracks! Before he could complete his thought mom asked why he called the cops on us when we weren’t even outside barking and of course he denied it. Mom then walked back up to the house and he was still going on and on that it wasn’t him, blah blah. She came in the house and let us out in the backyard and then there was a knock on the door. She immediately knew who it was and was furious he wanted to continue the conversation. But she opened the door and there he stood, in his stupidness! A conversation pursued and finally mom said “Okay it’s over with let’s move on”. Finally he retreated off the porch! What he said didn’t add up so we’re pretty sure it was indeed him. I wish mom would have let me at him!<br /><br />Thanks for all the comments and suggestions posted, some were great ideas! Blizz and I have seriously discussed planning a full scale attack on his yard…but he’s so nosey that he looks out his window everytime he hears something…so it will be difficult. Plus he's ALWAYS home. We shall see. Maybe we’ll watch some movies like “Saving Private Ryan” or “Behind Enemy Lines” to get some pointers.Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-83259261287095913712010-07-07T14:10:00.002-04:002010-07-07T14:22:52.974-04:00Wrongfully Accused!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhr0Zm-y8f8vF-0Az8Rc2dmS1Uh5aZqpWMkiqWfdBXK91Gv_cAbVu3RnxPlyxoxHcAjJZBtSmiMASmXWsRMvzB5uUZl6hk5Clba0oZ4DjAWsex9Cd7s3ryN-LvA7pod1zY8HUQz41bPJjgP/s1600/Jessie+3.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5491231452239779906" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 345px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhr0Zm-y8f8vF-0Az8Rc2dmS1Uh5aZqpWMkiqWfdBXK91Gv_cAbVu3RnxPlyxoxHcAjJZBtSmiMASmXWsRMvzB5uUZl6hk5Clba0oZ4DjAWsex9Cd7s3ryN-LvA7pod1zY8HUQz41bPJjgP/s400/Jessie+3.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Yes, that's right! I was wrongfully accused early Saturday morning. About 5:30 in the morning we got a knock on the front door and mom peeped out through the peep hole in the door and it was a policeman! She nervously opened the door thinking something bad had happened to our family but she was wrong. The officer mentioned that a neighbor had complained about dogs barking and she immediately stated, "But my dogs have been in the house all night". Supposedly our next door neighbor called and gave our address and another neighbor's address. Boy was mom mad! Not knowing who it was that called, she went down to the other neighbor's house who also got reported. She comes to find out that the neighbor in between us had called and the other accused neighbor said he was a jerk! So the next time she sees him boy is he in for it! Anyways, I've posted my mug shot and hope who ever else gets wrongly accused has a good mom like me to take up for them! </div>Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-18834073207685274042010-07-01T19:52:00.002-04:002010-07-01T20:05:55.126-04:00We are still here...<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIT93EtoCFtmCUcJdZmF5L5bOd16zFYlhlu4OQbshD2ImJToPrFSRvJ-KtuEOFILgPH2va4_zG-ciyReWOvCnGiiE0kcxfGdRpZ4P7khQ6iUSwa1xgWdImvxCWrCHD8iXEt8avPdbQDkTX/s1600/006.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5489090660668158610" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIT93EtoCFtmCUcJdZmF5L5bOd16zFYlhlu4OQbshD2ImJToPrFSRvJ-KtuEOFILgPH2va4_zG-ciyReWOvCnGiiE0kcxfGdRpZ4P7khQ6iUSwa1xgWdImvxCWrCHD8iXEt8avPdbQDkTX/s400/006.JPG" border="0" /></a> Hi everyone! Sorry we haven't posted anything in a while but mom got back from vacation and took a break from helping me blog. We're trying to catch up on everyone's blog and will be leaving comments again. Mom's been busy since she has gone back to work full-time and recently got a promotion all while dealing with her muscular dystrophy. <br /><br />It's also been extremely HOT here the last few weeks and we haven't been walking or staying outside much. Blizz and I throughly enjoy the air conditioning! I'm glad I didn't live back in the day when there was no such thing as air conditioning. Believe me, fans just won't cut it in this humidity. <br /><br />Mom's been thinking of getting us a little plastic pool for those HOT days. But then again, she's worried that I will roll around in the dirt after taking a dip in the pool. I say get the pool! Sometimes mom will squirt us with the water hose and Blizz just loves it. She jumps in the air and tries to drink the water. <br /><br />Well I hope everyone is doing great and will be catching up on your blogs soon.Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-80863006938930716162010-06-04T16:28:00.002-04:002010-06-04T16:36:44.016-04:00Out of the office...<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAC3cvUngISt6dpAEwOLeC2t-KxVRV3L0JpSOjBPB4dlk7Eqa_9x3LEqCzGnat-ZOXwgiEfmAZEPnZb9zCpm_VEm2uziJ02UL-PJ49ACqqM8jBWAHJ-qIYCaGB6HNTsZ85whQihrXvXxgq/s1600/002.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5479019965547993218" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAC3cvUngISt6dpAEwOLeC2t-KxVRV3L0JpSOjBPB4dlk7Eqa_9x3LEqCzGnat-ZOXwgiEfmAZEPnZb9zCpm_VEm2uziJ02UL-PJ49ACqqM8jBWAHJ-qIYCaGB6HNTsZ85whQihrXvXxgq/s400/002.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Hello friends. We saw mom get out her big ugly suitcase today and got worried. She confirmed our suspicions and told us she was going on vacation without us. I know I've been putting in long hours at my part-time backyard security job but I haven't been ignoring her completely! Why must she leave us? She says we can't go where she is going which is to Nags Head, NC (otherwise known to us as the beach). The house our grandparents rented doesn't allow us fine specimens. In the meantime, our uncle Eric will be taking care of us but won't be helping us on the computer so we're putting up our "Out of office" message. We'll read your posts once mom is back to help us. Here's wishing her a great but hurry back vacation.</div>Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-37651551202245026542010-05-24T15:45:00.003-04:002010-05-24T16:02:59.138-04:00Part-time job<div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-sKG6GRKmEjSz5WKzIL8C23Bs0rrPT70FQCEIereFGg7CQtt1acnTkj2VwNmfkVVUsdx_eUq_4kU4fJzznrtcjSkAtJEiTxT_7X0rikb9YN_4sw-wpBS41ULlV-gdVhIvQHlBPLNcPc6I/s1600/007.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5474928307452974930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-sKG6GRKmEjSz5WKzIL8C23Bs0rrPT70FQCEIereFGg7CQtt1acnTkj2VwNmfkVVUsdx_eUq_4kU4fJzznrtcjSkAtJEiTxT_7X0rikb9YN_4sw-wpBS41ULlV-gdVhIvQHlBPLNcPc6I/s400/007.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEfca2KXR64WXyPqIxayNMZBvFVNQdFuneiG1Vbx_BB_zuf9LuqDpn3Vwq7nHH_7UC1pgc6Ob6S7-XvqBNmvvtrok4QvNfeZsuOw8Y_RzN-zVgefZ2oO8pZV6LXVrqPcObu-jfSakc_2WK/s1600/005.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5474928302078244002" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEfca2KXR64WXyPqIxayNMZBvFVNQdFuneiG1Vbx_BB_zuf9LuqDpn3Vwq7nHH_7UC1pgc6Ob6S7-XvqBNmvvtrok4QvNfeZsuOw8Y_RzN-zVgefZ2oO8pZV6LXVrqPcObu-jfSakc_2WK/s400/005.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzc1Opmp3IZ7WXWSpDaHOqeiyYVADm8JpUFX-i92FbnB_fykGbejGnhQ16_VL_LvtNKDD3Ulgo6COnTszxusDmaHDtV0IbpgxpwSdfICodtSVaDV6tlXxDBdxnCkRiqtlyHRAvG5utNXIA/s1600/police-badge.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5474928292779092178" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 219px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzc1Opmp3IZ7WXWSpDaHOqeiyYVADm8JpUFX-i92FbnB_fykGbejGnhQ16_VL_LvtNKDD3Ulgo6COnTszxusDmaHDtV0IbpgxpwSdfICodtSVaDV6tlXxDBdxnCkRiqtlyHRAvG5utNXIA/s400/police-badge.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>I have recently gone to a top secret job interview. Well it all started back in 2002 when Blizz was adopted by mom's sister. For two years she ruled the house until I came along in 2004. I was a college graduation gift to mom and she was so happy to have me. By that time Blizz was already two years old and we lived together for another year. She taught me how to walk on a leash, how to bark and play. In 2005, we moved out from our grandparents house with mom and her sister (Blizz's original mom) to a new house. It was tough getting adjusted to a new house and new but smaller backyard. Then the unthinkable happened, Blizz and I were separated when mom's sister moved out. For about a year we were living separately until fate stepped in again. In 2008 mom's sister had a baby and she wanted my mom to take care of Blizz permanently. Mom happily obliged and you can say we lived happily ever after. I want to say thank you to Blizz for teaching me all about life and for putting up with my puppy ways. I know I occasionally still get on her nerves but she has been the best friend one westie could ever have. Please don't think badly of all pit bulls, as Blizz is a testament to her breed. May God give us many more days together.</div></div></div></div>Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-66760392621929485292010-05-05T13:30:00.000-04:002010-05-05T13:32:38.930-04:00Wordless Wednesday---Almost!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFMPPaWAuQIbUw0HoIcljd9XK4DVPqlyKvosohHX2QXjzc6u66fuxjTYFy6vn_3FjangrOiCU_P217f_Usf92Nqp41AgihRuhFhJ6jNryUvtaFSQHXMHj-cjymdp_fRtYI0jcdiHKC9DUl/s1600/Fly+like+a+butterfly.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5467839978034805378" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 287px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFMPPaWAuQIbUw0HoIcljd9XK4DVPqlyKvosohHX2QXjzc6u66fuxjTYFy6vn_3FjangrOiCU_P217f_Usf92Nqp41AgihRuhFhJ6jNryUvtaFSQHXMHj-cjymdp_fRtYI0jcdiHKC9DUl/s400/Fly+like+a+butterfly.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div>Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-4079533298831787672010-05-03T16:46:00.003-04:002010-05-03T16:59:07.783-04:00Defending our turf!Blizz and I were caught by mom defending our turf against a German Shepard! Well now due to Blizz's actions we have to be locked up at night! She keeps trying to use the couch as her bed at night and gets her hair all over it. So mom puts up a gate in the hallway to keep us in our rooms at night. Can you believe that?! All because Blizz can't control herself. So I really felt like I was in jail there! I somehow got a sore on the back of my front leg and it looked really nasty. Mom was worried so she took me this morning but everything seems okay. I have to take some pills called antibiotics for a week so it can heal. Mom mentioned something about not digging for a few days, and I don't think that's an option for me! Come one guys, you've seen my holes! I've got to keep it up until the backyard is a total war zone.<br /><br /><div></div></div>Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-87503588596292436112010-04-20T18:13:00.005-04:002010-04-20T18:25:20.668-04:00Yum Yum!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcPdLhI2Jm1WDPnbEnZQ8DkD1Z4IW1RWWJqE1yLXhvqmR6PbWq7oOvAgxLV0s0EQ3npY6Uxz4W537x6cZZYwks4m-WBQDqM7V6WEpGJYgDpzZdfoWOVVxG7I2dmP7hyphenhyphenZwisSMhCoqX_4pk/s1600/014.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5462347351176945042" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcPdLhI2Jm1WDPnbEnZQ8DkD1Z4IW1RWWJqE1yLXhvqmR6PbWq7oOvAgxLV0s0EQ3npY6Uxz4W537x6cZZYwks4m-WBQDqM7V6WEpGJYgDpzZdfoWOVVxG7I2dmP7hyphenhyphenZwisSMhCoqX_4pk/s400/014.JPG" border="0" /></a> Hello everyone, just thought I would share my favorite food with you. It's Cesar and it has my picture on the packaging! (Even though we all know I can't stay that white!) This one in particular is my favorite:<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho38SiNV-LpLZ-ZbnQaAGNozrVp3ETxRGF8sXWmfv09-ckiwnMg5CtI_sTkByeK1Ou7uB_ffpXA3SRTAiMWUzZN132gxtPGAPLDRpL208siXFoJmEaAZrUVjVNZcUWMnhhSrMRtmlFYOuh/s1600/015.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5462347345450701810" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho38SiNV-LpLZ-ZbnQaAGNozrVp3ETxRGF8sXWmfv09-ckiwnMg5CtI_sTkByeK1Ou7uB_ffpXA3SRTAiMWUzZN132gxtPGAPLDRpL208siXFoJmEaAZrUVjVNZcUWMnhhSrMRtmlFYOuh/s400/015.JPG" border="0" /></a> Another good choice in flavors:<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZK3i5LBqiULw98VgZaZJuibb-EA7AQVUcZaaBb4oKVlwEr42MbAQuICtUO7VMVqT38OahPtFO7Mv90nXTXerYCyN5J47t2CeqtaUIHjjfyCepbkucc9ydNd9hMiAPdfYzYGlY1KB26T8D/s1600/016.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5462346759972456130" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZK3i5LBqiULw98VgZaZJuibb-EA7AQVUcZaaBb4oKVlwEr42MbAQuICtUO7VMVqT38OahPtFO7Mv90nXTXerYCyN5J47t2CeqtaUIHjjfyCepbkucc9ydNd9hMiAPdfYzYGlY1KB26T8D/s400/016.JPG" border="0" /></a> Has anyone else tried this before? I won't eat anything else now unfortuantely for mom. It's a little more expensive than Pedigree, Alpo, etc. and not a lot comes in it, but it does fill my tummy up when mixed with dry food. Well mom's calling me for dinner, gotta run!<br /><br /><br /><div></div></div>Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-5551072975208634752010-04-14T18:36:00.002-04:002010-04-14T18:38:15.675-04:00Wordless Wednesday<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEib3G4Bw5ZIA_1gV-6mwK0IjfE5VwkW4Hag_5NYKwNkaDDPR7qjm_W5636vhyazpY3xVSwFkYkF4qmLnj_VjbDmhsHSodBG-7CQ7_z1VEa5hjuU771QmeWnzzMpx_9vONAGGDiqAuGULUNd/s1600/Jessie3.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5460126083821869554" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEib3G4Bw5ZIA_1gV-6mwK0IjfE5VwkW4Hag_5NYKwNkaDDPR7qjm_W5636vhyazpY3xVSwFkYkF4qmLnj_VjbDmhsHSodBG-7CQ7_z1VEa5hjuU771QmeWnzzMpx_9vONAGGDiqAuGULUNd/s400/Jessie3.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div>Jesse the Westiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12766430962468220918noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4545774494093283062.post-37561696061628906342010-04-12T18:33:00.007-04:002010-04-12T18:49:27.073-04:00Bye-bye Easter bunny, holes & pollen<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDgZoHrkyH4pen1KGjJft29Q4UR00p9T59r3ECynbydnNMx1bwexCdkyzb8Z6odJm1N3PTkZf3L-tK0arH5vVRanwK1kHkx-dOES_tqlmCK5M1t-AqxhH0pOmhRS2L0kD-_uyUGLZHBOrt/s1600/005.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5459385688647706418" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDgZoHrkyH4pen1KGjJft29Q4UR00p9T59r3ECynbydnNMx1bwexCdkyzb8Z6odJm1N3PTkZf3L-tK0arH5vVRanwK1kHkx-dOES_tqlmCK5M1t-AqxhH0pOmhRS2L0kD-_uyUGLZHBOrt/s400/005.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><div><div>Mom got us some stuffed Easter bunnies on clearance at Wal-mart and look what I did to mine.</div><div><br /> </div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5459383499115561618" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimRwvKk4HSCZa-TuDGNNMNCY8_ghyaJG-aVZHGLus_VzsvZJNeWL-MWToPreJ99I-XnyNg4TOS2LaEc2gVSqPxVi-PzlW2Dqd4nOWNvT1ZNuNLLP5J41Bpg4IurX3btDZWWT2M1UN2Jktd/s400/006.JPG" border="0" /><br /></div><div>I'm so bad...look at these holes I've dug in the backyard</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5459384148342781026" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5_ywYDEuOKzQeDBrYMo9HqWqZbbkvQmAo9R4lYM6e5lKfqV-jCvPVtNXak-N9KPkIegNk3_49BorNwxp5zxLwZ3oQdJ2V_UYyxMVMHmk2NDRgVf53mOoZWZwkAeEsQI6IPXG528RRHRnh/s400/010.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div></div>That's my lion ROAR!! </div><br /><div>Mom's noticed that I've been getting red around my paws again, which means it's allergy season!
